Embark on a journey into the heart of bodywork as it is practiced in Thailand, and explore how it is connected to western massage therapy modalities. There will be a strong focus on mindfulness, flowing movement, and the use of forearms and elbows to release tension. The class will be conducted on Thai mats on the ground. You will be crawling, rolling, and in general, joyfully hanging out on the floor.
This weekend course is a wonderful option for massage therapists looking to get inspired with new ways to move, stretch and use compression on their clients. The workshop is also appropriate for yoga teachers and those who are curious about the practice.
Paul Fowler has been teaching this course since 2003 and has been practicing Thai bodywork since 1999. Paul brings a sense of humor to his teachings that keeps the class fun and informative. Light-bulb moments are guaranteed!
