March 17, 2017 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
This two-hour class is a joyous romp through the world of healing touch as it is known in Thailand. You may find yourself being gently pulled into a glorious twist, or perhaps you will be therapeutically sitting on someone’s leg. You read that right. In Thai massage, we like to sit on people, walk on people, and stretch them out in all kinds of ways. It’s like yoga for lazy people! This class will not only teach you how to give and receive this unusual and amazing form of bodywork, but you will learn some relaxing meditation techniques and a little about the history and culture of Thailand as well. So the next time you walk into a Thai restaurant, you will be able to greet your hosts in Thai, thank them for the delicious meal and give them a Thai massage!
