Advanced Training-Lower Body

This Advanced Training weekend on May 2nd and 3rd will focus on the lower body using Pichest-inspired techniques.  There is no one who approaches bodywork quite like Pichest Boonthumme, Paul Fowler’s teacher and teacher to so many people within Thailand and around the world.

Learn to use positioning, gravity and bodyweight in ways you never dreamed of.  All are meant to maximize effect and minimize effort.  As Pichest says. . .”no more Buffalo work!” “No more sweating!”

Are you are working hard in your practice and sweating, getting exhausted after sessions, pushing and lifting heavy people in order to accomplish some move you learned in a sequence? If so, then it’s time to take a seat and let the client’s body do the work for you.

The class will include demonstrations by Paul with lots of time to experiment, play and practice.  It will be taught like it is taught in in Pichest’s classroom in Thailand, beginning with a Dhamma talk, then Wai Khru, then demonstration and then free practice with the teacher coming around helping and making corrections.  There will be no follow-the-leader and no sequence taught.  There will be no manual but pictures and video are allowed.  Emphasis will be on sensing, playing, following energy and getting feedback from the teacher and fellow students.

It is guaranteed that this workshop will expand your palate of potential moves and ways of approaching the body.

100 Hours of Thai bodywork experience or prior approval is necessary.

Paul has kept the cost down in order to share this work with as many people as possible as it WILL change your life.  $150 for graduates of the Blue Lotus 180 Hour Training, $200 for non-graduates.  CE’s granted for massage therapists.
