Everything changes. We just recently graduated class 17, the king of Thailand has moved on (or perhaps he’s done moving on!), we are getting ready for our 6th Thailand adventure, we are looking to start a program in San Diego (we are looking to partner with a studio out there so if you know anyone. . . ) and alas, we are moving out of Moksha. We’ve had a great run there. Anyone who used studio C knows what a special space it was to give and receive bodywork. All who took the program in studio B know how perfect a space it was for what we did. Moksha provided us with a really supportive environment, gave us great visibility and afforded us so many opportunities to share this great work. But sometimes, it is just time to move on. And move on we will.
We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Chicago Oneness Center http://chicagoonenesscenter.com. It’s run by our good friends Edita Malakauskaite and John Sweeney. Edita is a great Thai practitioner in her own right, having studied in Thailand and many other places. She owns Thai Blossom, a Thai massage studio and they offer Thai sessions at the Oneness center as well. We will be finishing the last four weekends of class 18 there, doing an intro class in December and hosting Pierce Salguero, author of Traditional Thai Medicine: Buddhism, Animism, Yoga, Ayurveda in March.
It is a perfect fit for Blue Lotus. Chicago Oneness is located on Irving Park and Broadway and the studio is gorgeous. As we barrel headlong into the holiday season, we look forward to sharing this oasis of peace with you!
